New discovery for me: The Secret (Military) Alliance between: Portugal, South Africa and Rhodesia

I’m so glad to have a chance to begin to do some reading again and a little bit of research again after all the nasty hassles I had from my enemies this last year. Anyway, the other day for the first time ever, I was reading about a SECRET military alliance between Portugal, South Africa and Rhodesia back in the 1960s and 1970s.

I have known for long that the Whites of Southern Africa were working together secretly for long in the fight against Black rule. But it always seemed so informal. It never made sense that our leaders did not get together to form an actual ALLIANCE – a military alliance – to fight the Blacks. Well, it turns out THEY DID AND IT WAS SECRET!

In all my years of studying Rhodesia and South Africa and even living here all my life I had never heard of this. It’s not even mentioned in all the books I’ve read that were written by military officers or spies. Neither Rhodesians nor South Africans have ever mentioned this.

Anyway, I’m busy getting around to reading the first ever academic works I’ve found on the subject.

I am convinced that LOTS of secrets are still missing and were never made public. Just today on a chat with other Boers, who were asking me about Apartheid history, I raised this same question. I am convinced that huge amounts of information never made it to the White South African public. Never. I think huge amounts of information remained CLASSIFIED and hidden inside Government and Military archives in South Africa. Plus, there might also be many truck loads – who knows how many truckloads of data that was shredded and destroyed.

South Africa was the single most important player in the communist race wars in southern Africa from the 1960s to the 1990s. There is no doubt in my mind that vast amounts of information on South Africa’s role in many countries has never made it to the public.

Only a handful of Generals and even fewer politicians have written memoirs about what happened.

South Africa is a country with LOTS of secrets I tell you. Even now.

I am very pleased to be able to read again, including what was going on in Southern Africa during our racial conflicts. And I will publish and write more about what I am finding.

The Portuguese fascinate me. Portugal was the only European nation to openly fight in Africa alongside the local resident White "colonists" (read: conquerors!). So I have a soft spot for them.
