Paypal Letter: Paypal shuts down my Paypal A/c because of “High Risk”
[Here is an email I got from Paypal quite some time ago. They shut my a/c down today due to “High Risk”. I don’t know what that coded term is meant to convey. Here is the email I received. See the reason they give below, which is highlighted. When they say it has been “limited” it means its shut down.
“High Risk” is a totally bogus argument I might add. High Risk of what? Jan]
Dear Jan,
We have recently reviewed your PayPal account, and due to the excessive risk involved, it has been permanently limited.
Please remove all references to PayPal from your website/s and/or auction/s. This includes not only removing PayPal as a payment option, but also the PayPal logo and PayPal shopping cart.
Currently there is no money on your PayPal account balance.
Note that should any chargebacks result in your account balance falling below zero, then you will also need to settle the amount owed to PayPal to avoid further action.
Customers who are permanently limited for violating the Acceptable Use Policy are not permitted to use PayPal services and are not permitted to open new or additional PayPal accounts.
You can find the complete PayPal Acceptable Use Policy by clicking Legal at the bottom of any PayPal page.
Sincerely,
Paul
