Maps & Charts: China in Africa & South Africa: My Analysis – Also Rhodesian War & TanZam Railway line
[A lot of Americans have been raising the issue of China in Africa to me. Even South Africans are worried. But the truth is that this is nothing new. I was looking at countries that China had issued loans to, across the world, in recent times where the countries are deeply in debt to the Chinese. There is even a tiny European country that is deeply in debt to China.
Here’s my opinion: China is taking on projects that the West won’t touch because they are high risk. This is more a sign of Chinese desperation than anything. These projects, in many cases are not even big, and some of them are downright stupid. The Chinese are picking up the bread crumbs of business that the West won’t touch because it is so high risk. So it is very likely that these projects won’t succeed much and then these stupid countries will find a tough new master at the door that they don’t like. It will be good for the stupid blacks to experience this.
Another point to keep in mind is South Africa versus the rest of Africa. South Africa is a super-power in African terms. All these other countries in Africa don’t amount to a hill of beans.
NB: South Africa’s Liberal/Jewish/White businesses are much better placed to invest and build in Africa because we have all the skills and “feet on the ground” and the benefit of much local knowledge of Africa. I’ve worked for companies, especially during the era of President Mbeki, where they went on a MASSIVE Jewish/Liberal offensive into Africa – thinking they would make enormous amounts of money. The truth is, that these countries are useless, backward and dysfunctional. Even if you bring development to them, they can barely handle it. These places are truly backwards. It does not matter whether it is Zambia, or Tanzania or Kenya or Ethiopia. These countries are backwards and dysfunctional on a scale even worse than South Africa. Not much profit can be expected from any of these places. The South African big Jewish/Liberal business offensive into Africa about 15+ years ago WAS A BIG FLOP! A BIG FLOP! I don’t know of anyone who walked out of it with any success. In fact, many pulled out from Africa and returned to functioning ONLY inside South Africa. I have never yet heard of businesses from S.Africa that made it big elsewhere except for cell phone companies like MTN. Everything else was a big flop. Most of them just hang in there, and some maintain a small prescence, but it doesn’t mean much to anyone.
Here are actual statistics showing MTN’s successes. MTN is even in Iran. Below is the subscriber base of MTN in different countries:
To my knowledge MTN is probably the most successful South African company, except for Naspers which is now in China and is almost as big as Nike. White South Africans have gone global, and it has worked to quite a degree. I’ll publish more on this.
The $124 billion that China spent on Africa may be a lot for the other African countries, but it amounts to only 4.5 years of South Africa’s GDP. Its really not that much. China apparently offered Ramaphosa of South Africa $25 billion and he turned it down I think.
Note: The capitalisation of Naspers is almost as big as the money China has spent on Africa. Naspers is valued at $112 billion, according to Forbes. Source: https://www.forbes.com/companies/naspers/#3a58885e7170
Some projects, like the silly electric railway line in Ethiopia, might very easily fall apart in years to come. Then Ethiopia will be indebted to China, and that will be China and Ethiopia’s problem. I don’t see how this is going to work out brilliantly for China except that they can come and do some arm twisting later to get “special deals” in various African countries.
The real power over Africa that nobody mentions is Europe and the USA. Europe and the USA have a much stronger presence in Africa. Never forget that the US Navy is the greatest military force on Earth and can go anywhere in the world really FAST. If the USA ever wished to cut the Chinese or Russians off from Africa, they could do so with EASE. The notion that America is losing out because the Chinese are here is really not something to worry about.
Dave Hodges worries that China will weaponize Africa’s food. I wouldn’t worry. The people really weaponising food are companies like Monsanto who control the seeds. Africa for the most part can’t even feed itself. If anyone is going to DIE from lack of food it will be blacks in Africa.
China has been trying to get into Africa since the 1960s. Their biggest project was the TanZam Railway line which was finished in 1976, during the Rhodesian Bush war. It was built at the behest of Dr Kaunda of Zambia to reduce the dependence of Zambia on Rhodesia, since the whites in Rhodesia had rebelled. Here’s a map below:
This Tazara railway line was intended to give the blacks independence from the whites in Rhodesia holding them to ransom and cutting off supplies to them. This was an enormous project and cut across southern Africa, and was done without the West.
So how did this go for the blacks?
For the record, the Rhodesian army even blew up portions of it. From Wikipedia (just look at the damage that came from a few Rhodesian actions on the railwayline):
TAZARA played an important role in the black nationalist struggles of the late 1970s and 1980s. The railway served as a trade route for Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Malawi that did not pass through apartheid South Africa, or Angola or Mozambique, which were embroiled in civil wars with South African-backed proxies.[19] During Zimbabwe’s struggle for independence, the white Rhodesian government targeted ZIPRA‘s supply lines from Tanzania.[55] Rhodesian forces also attacked and destroyed three bridges; the Chambeshi River Bridge was blown up by the Selous Scouts in 1979 and required one year to reconstruct.[56][19] As a result of these difficulties, cargo transport fell below 800,000 tons per annum from 1979/80 to 1982/83. In addition, landslides and washouts frequently disrupted service, especially during the rainy seasons of 1979 and 1985/86.[31][56]

So how has this project worked out after all these decades? Well, its beginning to fall apart and its running at a loss for the last 10 years:
The line had, at the time of its opening, a capacity to carry two million tons of freight in each direction per annum, however that was never attained as severe bottlenecks at Dar es Salaam were experienced.
During the railway’s nearly thirty nine years of operation, the line has never achieved the efficiency and volume of traffic that was hoped for. This has been due to many causes with poor maintenance practices being top of the list, with non availability of wagons, derailments and locomotive breakdowns being a common occurrence. One only has to go on line and look on “YouTube” and see films of journeys where a trip that is scheduled for 36 hours takes 50 hours, due to a breakdown.

With the passing of time competition, from both road and other rail lines, has caused a drastic decline in the volume of goods transported along the line, which in turn has caused TAZARA to run at a loss for the last ten years.

So how’s that looking? Not so great! African development was not all it was cracked up to be. It helped them to a degree when they were trying to be independent from White control. But event a few visits by the Rhodesian army totally cocked things up for them! It took them a whole year to rebuild a single bridge which the whites blew up in no time! In 1979, the Rhodesian army totally shattered the economies of Zambia and Mozambique in short order. In a very short space of time the whites totally smashed most of the infrastructure and brought both countries to their knees economically. Its a topic we’ll revisit. Its never spoken of. Its the one time when whites really went on the ATTACK and smashed the blacks economically and it left them in huge pain.
If the blacks can sabotage us whites, NEVER FORGET THAT WE CAN SABOTAGE THEM ON AN EVEN BIGGER SCALE!
The biggest success that China had in Africa was the arming and supporting of Zimbabwe. Mugabe and ZANU PF (Zanu PF still rules Zimbabwe even after Mugabe was kicked out), are the biggest Chinese success story in Africa. Mugabe had full on Chinese military support. Mugabe engaged in several big wars for communism (assisting Russia and China). He fought 11 years in Mozambique and for several years in the “Great African World War” in Zaire where Zimbabwe and Angola played a key role for communism and ensuring a communist victory in Zaire.
The Chinese have poured into several African countries including Zimbabwe and they even had a presence in Botswana. The Chinese never stayed. They were there for a few years and then left.
We have Chinese in South Africa and I fail to see how the Chinese presence in any way is a huge thing, EXCEPT in the following ways:-
1. Dave Hodges mentions that the Limpopo area of South Africa has big mineral deposits, and this is where they are about to seize a bunch of white farms. Thus bringing in mining companies and perhaps Chinese interests – that could be something.
2. President Zuma is the one who went to China to strike deals with China. This is the same as Mugabe’s “look east” policy. The blacks do this when they fear the West won’t be as nice to them as in the past. The real reason Zuma and Ramaphosa are keen to be bum chums with China is because THEY MIGHT NEED GUNS AND MILITARY SUPPORT in the event that they have problems with the West or local Boers. But the blacks have ALWAYS had a hot line to both Russia AND China who will give them any weaponry they want. The blacks have no shortage of getting military weapons.
As you can see from the photos below, both Zuma and Ramaphosa, are extremely excited to cut deals with China. But remember, you are watching loser blacks dealing with China. The Chinese will give them as many guns as they need (ditto for Putin – MAKE NO MISTAKE). Russia and China are the only big “anti-Western” powers out there. And BOTH have supported and will support the blacks MILITARILY. That’s always been a given.
If the USA really wants to, it has a global presence and can be anywhere. The major powers however, have no desire for war with each other.
The Russians have been as keen as the Chinese to get into Africa but even they find it hard going. You won’t see them anywhere, because Africa, under black rule is a MESS.
I have seen nothing that indicates to me that the Blacks and Chinese will be enormous successes when they work together. There is nothing they are doing that can’t be swept aside by Whites, the USA or Europe. Africa can become the White race’s playground any time the whites choose to do so. Africa will NEVER again reach the heights it had before.
The Russian Navy is much more potent than the Chinese Navy. In a war situation, the USA would sweep the Chinese Navy aside in short order. Most likely the European navies could do the same. Sweeping the Chinese out of Africa wouldn’t be that difficult if push came to shove. China isn’t a real super power. China has very powerful enemies on her doorstep: India and Japan.
Don’t get too hyped up on how awesome China is. That’s just a lot of Jewish/Liberal/Communist lying. The Chinese aren’t really a big deal, either in the world or in Africa. Jan]
Are the Chinese Posturing To Weaponize Food Control On a Global Scale?
The loan agreements that China is making with African nations are, on the surface, aimed at unblocking the financial bottleneck currently strangling emerging economies, by providing assistance with large-scale infrastructure development programs. All over Africa, Chinese companies are involved in the construction and management of roads, ports, power plants and industries. But, there is more behind the story than just helping Africa out of a difficult situation, much more. The net effect is that China will soon control a vast majority of the world’s food resources. That is when China will bring the United States to her knees.
CHINA AND SOUTH AFRICA
China is planning to build a massive industrial city in the Limpopo province in South Africa. The new city includes schools, gymnasiums, shopping centers, hospital and its own power supply. According to reports the Chinese government is not required to pay VAT (Value added tax @ 15%) and is they also do not have to pay Custom tax. Company tax for this project will be 15% instead of the usual 28%. for a bunch of communists, the Chinese have mastered the art of crony capitalism.
The Chinese will supply their own workers for the South African projects, meaning that South African employment will not benefit from this project. And these Chinese workers will be members of front companies for the Chinese military. So not only is China going to expand their economic imperialism, they are going to be occupying, with military forces, Africa as a whole.
China and South Africa have entered into large-scale industrial agreements and the South African President is not disclosing exactly what these deals are.
In the last 18 years, China has pumped more than $124 billion into Africa. Although China is a country with over 100 million people who are still living below the poverty line, however, they continue to invest billions of dollars in offshore schemes, especially Africa.
Disturbingly, China’s liberal loan hand-outs is nothing more than ‘debt colonialism’. China is lending exorbitant amounts of capital to impoverished nations in Africa which have almost no practical way of repaying the debt. In August 2018, China pledged R196 (South African Rand) billion to South Africa, during the 10th annual BRICS summit which was held in Johannesburg. The big three credit rating agencies, Standard & Poor’s (S&P), Moody’s, and Fitch Group have over recent years downgraded South Africa significantly. Ratings agency Standard and Poor’s has kept the country’s credit rating at junk status (BB). Now, SA has gone into recession. South Africa entered recession (Sept 4, 2018) for the first time since 2009. Statistics South Africa said the economy contracted by 0.7 percent in the second quarter due to massive declines in the agricultural, transport and retail sectors. The farmers are afraid to plant and invest more money into food production. Why should they? The ANC government promised to take their land. The new recession is a huge blow to President Ramaphosa’s controversial land reform policy. China knows that SA is in trouble due to extreme government corruption and incompetence and they are filling the gap, giving billions, knowing that they will take the assets due to non-repayment that awaits down the road. The Chinese are following the same plan that has enabled the World Bank to take control of several third world countries.
As stated, the Chinese are employing a “Western” version of crony capitalism. As I have reported earlier, the Chinese are deeply involved in the taking of white, South African farmland. The Chinese are splitting the profits realized from the underground mineral resources with the South African government. However, and much more telling, the Chinese are being allowed to control the above-ground agriculture, which is being sent back to China. Yes, and as this article will expose, China is after mineral resources and control of industry, transportation and infrastructure. However, their main goal is to control and the weaponization of food.
The Chinese African Debt Enslavement Plan
The Chinese have invaded several African countries with an imperialistic zeal that should fill the US with envy. Below is are excerpts from the operationalization of this Chinese plan of global imperialism.
CHINA & ZAMBIA
The Zambian government has gone into overdrive trying to defend the country’s reputation over fears that China is about to take over strategic national institutions and assets. Well, is it true? Are there any national assets that the Chinese are taking over in Zambia? The answer is yes! Let’s begin with the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation. ZNBC is repossessed because they have ring-fenced the cash flows of the national broadcaster for the next 25 years. As if that is not bad enough, China has gained control of the signal; they are the signal distributor now and bullying any Zambian television investor who attempts to provide competition as a signal carrier. Where has it happened in the world that a foreign company becomes a signal distributor on behalf of the national broadcaster? And they are even licensing local television stations, making them pay to carry their signal. Can Google be very far behind this plot to complete control the flow of information? Also, China is taking over Zambian International Airport in Lusaka for default on debt repayment. They have also confiscated and closed a major highway in Zambia.
The IMF
Due to China’s loan policy, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned of increasing debt distress in 15 African countries. However, both the IMF and the United Nations stop short of condemning the Chinese for their hyper-colonialism.
In 10 years, their sleepy fishing villages here could be razed to create space for Africa’s largest port that the Chinese have planned. The tiny fishing village of Bagamoyo is set to become Africa’s largest port in a $10 billion Chinese development project. In typical Chinese fashion, they are saying to hell with the local economy and the ability for the locals to make a living.
CHINA & KENYA
Although Kenya and Ethiopia were the only two African nations among the 30 countries signing economic and trade agreements at the Belt and Road Forum (Barf) in Beijing in May last year, China has been very busy on the continent. The flagship Belt and Road project is Kenya’s 290-mile railway from the capital, Nairobi, to the port city of Mombasa, which opened to the public last year. There are plans to extend that network into South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi; it was already the country’s largest infrastructure project since independence. While in Kenya, perhaps the Chinese will build a shrine to Obama’s birthplace.
CHINA & ETHIOPIA
Ethiopia got a 470-mile electric railway from its capital, Addis Ababa, to the port in the neighboring dictatorship of Djibouti. The £2.5bn project – financed by a Chinese bank and built by Chinese companies. This project opened in January of 2018.
CHINA & OTHER AFRICAN COUNTRIES
Chinese infrastructure projects stretch all the way to Angola and Nigeria, with ports planned along the coast from Dakar to Libreville and Lagos. Beijing has also signaled its support for the African Union’s proposal of a pan-African high-speed rail network.
Conclusion
Everyone of the aforementioned countries has significant agricultural supplies. Stalin used food as a weapon as did Hitler and also that strategy was employed by Mao.
In the meantime, U.S. politics are so busy with infighting, thanks to the extreme Liberal Left-wing, Deep State agenda that is not only destructive, but nonsensical and irrational. Europe needs to deal with their self-inflicted migrant problem that will most probably shatter Europe. Due to these distractions, they are being outmaneuvered by China. We are soon going to awaken to a world where the Chinese control the majority of the world’s food reserves.
There is also the 800 pound gorilla in the room. Imperialism begets war without exception. With the rising tide of global populism, it is safe to that the irresistible force is about to move immovable object.
