I think I see the problem and it ain’t China Virus!

The city of Fairfield, Alabama, has filed for bankruptcy, becoming the latest in the state to do so.

Mayor Eddie Penny said his city, which is home to roughly 11,000 people, had been struggling financially for years, but the coronavirus pandemic has made matters worse, forcing businesses to shutter.

The racial makeup of the city was 8.90% Ahite, 90.23% Black or African American, 0.06% Native American, 0.15% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.17% from other races, and 0.48% from two or more races. 0.59% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
