In 1492 the Chief Rabbi of Spain consulted the Great Sanhedrin in Constantinople. This was because the Christians were finally getting rid of 700 years of Jewish oppression. The advice the Chief Rabbi received deals with the revenge the Jews were to take against the Christians.
